Strategy Lesson Reflection
I really enjoyed presenting on the “Tweet the Text” strategy. One challenge we found in creating our presentation was how to have our peers take notes on the presentation. We decided to have them summarize each slide in preparation of how to form the tweet. I think to improve this we could have made a sheet for them to fill out that prompted this a little more. When we were going over the strategy at the end I wish I had said something that we aren’t personally attached to this strategy and saying you wouldn’t do it wouldn’t be taken personally about our strategy. I felt like people who didn’t click with the strategy didn’t exactly want to say it because it would insult our presentation. However, we didn’t create this strategy, so we want to actually hear people’s real feedback if they would use it in the classroom. I personally would be a little skeptical to use this in a classroom. The students would need to be responsible with twitter. I did love doing it on Google Sheets, I think that would actually work very well in many classroom settings. Overall, I feel like the presentation went well.
